Yoooo I'm so glad I just moved down the street from this place. Got their shoyu chicken, yum. Got a side of macaroni salad - yum. But the real highlight, especially right now with the 100+ degree weather, is the delicious frozen slushy!! I got a huge Lilikoi flavored one and it was only $4, a bit too sweet but so refreshing. Will regularly be back for this and the bbq chicken and to try the other meats. Nice hidden/off the street outdoor patio to chill at too and cashier was chill/friendly.
I won't gatekeep this gem. Always 5 stars!!!! Been going here for YEARS! I love this place and wish I lived closer. But probably good that I don't so I don't go broke and get fat eat the macaroni salad! IT IS AMAZING!!!
Omg!! It was the best marinated chicken ever!!!! Also the chicken katsu is so crispy and their macaroni salad is the best too!! This place will be my favorite place!!!! Also their staff were nice and the restaurant was very clean!' Oh! their hand made popcorn is bomb!!!
We got some of the lunch bowls and we were so full. I ate all of it but my coworkers couldn't finish theirs. Love that it also came with salads and different sauces to try! A nice place to get Hawaiian food close to DTLA

Their food truck was at my workplace today. I ordered the chicken bowl with veggies instead of rice. The chicken was cooked to my liking- well done and perfectly seasoned. My co-worker got the combination plate-it looked so good, I plan to get that next time. Service was fast and friendly. Food truck was clean and well-kept.
Had a chance to grab a quick musubi from their food truck at the Los Feliz Flea and I couldn't be happier that we stopped! This was some of the best musubi I've had, definitely top tier. The rice to spam ratio was awesome, most places go too heavy on the rice but not here. So flavorful, just perfect! Tried some of the spicy hot sauce (they have a spicy and mild version), it was definitely powerful so if you can't tolerate much spice, stick to the mild, but it tasted awesome and added so much to the musubi.
